ISOKO Working Group on Women and Youth for Peace and Security in Africa
To accelerate the momentum to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment in Africa, ISOKO Partners coordinate and support the Women and Youth Organizations, and provides technical support to members of the Working Group, as well as many other organizations that are not members, implementing or considering programs that engage men and women as partners in promoting Peace, Gender Equality and Sustainable Development. The ISOKO Working Group is committed to advancing the Women, Peace, and Security and Youth, Peace, and Security agendas through the localization and monitoring of UNSCR 1325 and UNSCR 2250, and seeks to hold key actors accountable for their implementation.
