Our Organization

ISOKO Partners for Peace and Gender Equality is an international organization based in the United States of America working with women and youth’s groups and other civil society organizations for  peaceful, free from gender-based violence, and prosperous communities. ISOKO Partners are currently implementing innovative programs that promote gender equality and women and youth’s economic empowerment in Africa. In this perspective, ISOKO Partners coordinates and supports the ISOKO Working Group on Women and Youth for Peace and Security in Africa. ISOKO Partners provides technical support to members, as well as many other organizations that are not members, implementing or considering programs that engage men and women as partners in promoting Peace, Gender Equality, and Sustainable Development Goals in Africa.

ISOKO Partners are committed to:
1. Advancing the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) and Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) Agendas through the localization and monitoring of UNSCR 1325 and UNSCR 2250;
2. Engaging ”Women and Men as Partners for Peace building and Gender Equality” to promote sustainable peace and gender justice;
3. Holding key actors accountable for their implementation and advocates for gender sensitive and conflict sensitive policies and services delivering to ensure the well-being of women and youth;
4. Ensuring women and youth are key actors and fully enjoy their socio-political and economic rights;
5. Implementing humanitarian responses to mitigate the impact of violent conflicts, climate change, and pandemics.
