Digital Literacy for Rural Women, Youth, and People with Disabilities in Eswatini
Call for action
Help us equip 200 women, youth, and people with disabilities in rural Eswatini with digital skills that open doors to education, jobs, and peacebuilding. Together, we can bridge the digital divide!
The Challenge
In rural Eswatini, thousands of women, young people, and people living with disabilities are excluded from the digital world. Without basic digital skills, they are left behind unable to access online education, apply for jobs, or engage in vital conversations about peace and community development. The digital divide is deepening inequalities and limiting opportunities for those who need them most.
Our Solution
ISOKO Partners for Peace and Gender Equality and Umliba Loyembili Edupreneurs (ULE) are launching a Digital Literacy Project in Shewula, Eswatini.
This initiative will:
-
- Train 200 women, youth, and people with disabilitiesin essential digital skills.
- Provide access to laptops, internet, and learning platforms.
- Build the capacity of local trainers to continue digital education beyond the project.
- Empower rural communities to participate in education, entrepreneurship, and peacebuilding.
Why Now?
The world is moving fast, and digital skills are no longer optional—they are essential. By supporting this project, you are giving rural women, youth, and people with disabilities the chance to learn, earn, and lead. This is about more than computers—it’s about dignity, equality, and creating a future where no one is left behind.
